Silent Thunder

高山正欉炭焙鐵觀音

It takes seven days to complete the making of this High Mountain Tie Guan Yin. Though it is heavily roasted, but due to the high quality of charcoal and slow, gentle roasting process, the flavor is lightly sweet, fruity, rich, and complex, with notes of caramel, cocoa, dark chocolate, pine, and rosin.  The name “Silent Thunder” came from the image of the tea maker leaning over to listen to the charcoal flame, ensuring it is ready for the roasting process.
